Afm

The AFM on my 1980 280ZX is labeled A31-618 420 and I have one from my 82 which I use for a parts car which is labeled A31-622 420. Does anyone know the difference and are they interchangeable ?

I am going to say that the 1980 and 1982 AFM's are interchangeable as they are both for non turbo cars. I know I got an '82 AFM to work on my '79 and vise versa...maybe lww or bleach or Nismopick could help out better with an answer.

Yeah, all non-turbo 280zx AFM's are interchangeable (as well as turbo interchangeable w/ the other year turbos). The only diff on the n/a AFM's is that some didn't have an air temp sensor (the temp sensor is a lil white plastic nub by the front of the flapper door).
