Recently replaced injectors due to rough running engine and now the car runs fine for about an hour maybe two and shuts down. It also has some hesitation thru the mid ranges of shifting until I get to cruise speed then it settles out.

Any Suggestions? The fuel pump dampner has been bypassed, would that cause this sort of problem.

After I rented a trailer and hauled it home let it sit until the next day it cranks and seems to fine but I don't trust it this is the second time it has done it.

LoL... now there's something I'd say

Rotorhead... you need to find out if it's a fuel or spark prob. Can you restart the car right after it dies?
