82 - 83 ECU swap, should be the same eh?
82 - 83 ECU swap, should be the same eh?
Ok i ran a fast search here and at zcar, and after wading through a lot of posts ive come to the conclusion that an ecu swap, putting an 83 into an 82, shouldnt be a problem.
Correct me if im wrong however, i just wanna make sure the sticker that says it will be destroyed if installed in a different years car is just BS since as far as i know everything between 82 and 83 mechanicaly is the same as far as i know.
Picked up a new ignitor, junkyard-new ECU, dizzy, and fuel pump to hopefully fix anything on my Z tomorrow and make her run again. Im not playing games with it though since its stuck 50+ miles away so weather or not it needs the parts...heh well its getting em anyways.
