81 zxt gas smell

81 zxt gas smell

well title says it all. everything was good until 4 days ago when i drove my ZX to work and noticed a a spill by the fuel pump but didnt think much. after that the smell of gas wont go away, any ideas? fuel lines ok, pump ok,

Check for anything that's wet. Double check for cracked fuel hoses, check the filler neck as well. Fuel gives me a headache.

Don't eat beans before you drive your car? I know that works well for me for any gas smell issues....

But seriously.... did you look at the lines by the fuel pump where you noticed the leak????

Yes I did and it was indeed the lines by the fuel pump. Feel like a jackass. Car runs like a champ. Thanks guys happy new year
