280zx turbo manifold block plates??
280zx turbo manifold block plates??
heres a issue:
im trying to clean up my engine bay and while i do have new hoses and a pretty clean built motor i still wanna reduce clutter i.e the amount of hoses running around. runs on stock ECU
heres a question: what can i block off on my manifold?
i live in tx so its rarely ever cold anything related to that i can remove?(romved water lines and hose from tb already)
what about the egr i heard alot of people remove it, necessary? aac valve?
ive never seen my turbo use a cold start only my 80 (primes and runs rich till its warm on cold days) is the water temp sensor mounted on the manifold needed?
its gonna be a 5 speed so im hopin to get rid of some of those hoses that go to the automagic shift control by the ac compressor.
thanks im just looking for more style points to add to my powdercoated mani with CNC cut plenum..
any pics would help of maybe some stripped manifold on a running car

I advise to block ONE thing at a time and check to make sure it still runs right. The L28ET is really picky about changing the manifold setup.
Also, cleaning up the turbo manifold is A LOT of work for no gain. If you are doing this for looks, just use an N42 non-egr manifold from the get go.
