On our 280zx's... just tap into the single O2 sensor wire & there you go!

HeHe... thxone: that's an old pic, and I was taking stuff apart that day... the colum cover is installed correct now.
I got that pod as a freebee from the ebayer I bought the boost gauge from. It said it was a universal pod. It didn't fit too well, so I trimmed it down & used my propane space heater to heat it & mold it to the shape of the stock 280zx pillar piece. I've got it taped on for now, but I will plasic weld it to the stock pillar piece one day.

since I have the silver indiglo gauges like Apollo, I must have only Autometer silver face gauges. Ya, I'm poor and picky. gotta love it!
Summit doesn't have silver, only white so off to AutoZone I go to spend my grocery money! thanks for the tip, Nismopick. Cheese sandwiches for the next two weeks...

I did another search and found silver face gauges on Summit. You know people are trying to sell new gauges on eBay for more than Summit charges? weird $44 ea for the silver face, yay!
Autometer makes boost gauges that go to 60psi! wow...

I 'rebuilt' my AFM. I also rebuilt the bad AFM and that one is still bad so there's something really wrong with it... it wont' even idle good. So anyway, I also checked the TPS and it functions. There is a definite change in fuel mixture when it is rotated. No change in how the car drives. Next I'll check the fuel pressure.

You're probably thinking about a wide band O2 sensor. They're considerably more expensive than a narrow band O2. Fortunately, the stock O2 sensors on our cars are narrow band so they don't need a wide-band gauge which is also a boat load more expensive.
Those eBay gauges are totally no-name brand. I wouldn't trust a multi-thousand dollar engine to a cheap no-name brand A/F gauge...
