Hey guys, I have an 83 n/a and it was running good and then I took off the distributor to modify the bottom plate so I could turn it a little further. Well put it all back together and it is missing but I am getting spark. Can't figure it out.

 

did ya plug all the connections back in order theyr suppose to be???

 

Yea, I have been driving it for about two weeks. It did it for about 5-10 minutes and then it was fine, just smoothed right out. Did it again at the drag strip tonight. Kept it running for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden it smoothed right out. Wierdest thing

 

Sounds like a sensor may be leaning or enrichening the fuel mixture which causes the misfires; not the ignition.

 

You think it could be the o2 sensor? It only seems to do it when it cools down quick.
