This question would be better asked on hybridz.org or go to jagsthatrun.com and look at there parts list,

Motorsport Auto. Which is www.zcarparts.com. Have a section to do V-8 conversions. Do you have their catalog? I don't know for sure if they have the parts on their website yet. And personally I think putting in a V-8 takes away from what the car is. It ceases to be a genuine sportscar. And becomes a Datsun shell with a American drivetrain. Just my opinion. I like to keep him all Datsun!

honestly i prefer american muscle over anything..but i cant say dont love my lil 280zxt... its been a great car and im sort of a purist on some aspects...if i am going to have a converted model..im going to have it with standards before anything else....

off topic... my dreamcar is a 1967 Pontiac GTO droptop w/ Chevy 502 supercharged big block with Jake's exhaust system and a monster hood scoop but before i will own it..i will always have a straight and true model before anything else

I am going through the swap right now... I got a mechanic that's finished the swap a few times before, he's doing the whole setup. 350/700R4 tranny..

Why pay someone to do it when you can do it yourself? Just my opinion... Anyway, how much is it going to cost you to get that done?

b/c I can't do it... with my work schedule (and new baby), this would turn into a year or more project. 3,000 for the engine/tranny/mounts/drivetrain/3"dual exhaust/labor + anything else that comes along...

Dude, thats nothing. My Z has been down for about a month and a half on a project I was hoping would take a week. I still haven't fixed its problems either. So hopefully she will be up and running very soon.

Hey, don't complain. My Zed's been out for 9 1/2 months, and counting.

So I guess that makes my car an abomination! Japanese body and chassis, American transmission and suspension(probably), and German engine! Or at least that's the plan...

You guys go ahead and complain about your downtime! I have only driven my car for about 5min! On the trailer when we picked it up, Off the trailer and into storage! That was back in November!! As soon as it STAYS warm here for a few days straight I cal pull her out of storage!! YAY!!
