Angry surging

i have a 1983 280zx
i recently put a p and p intake on it a stock one although my original intake had one extra vacum hole i drilled and tapped it on the new one
since i installed it my z has been surging at 2500 and wont go past it my fuel pump to my knowledge has not been replaced and i have replaced 2 of my injectors every hose is connected back to its place and i have no idea whats going on
please help

What's a "p and p" intake? Have you checked to make sure all the sensor connections are tight / reconnected (AFM & TPS mainly) ? Have you checked the timing? Have you checked to make sure there aren't any open vacuum lines? Have you checked to make sure anything that was disconnected got reconnected?

i never took the distributor off and yes all connections are secure including the maf and tps

Checked that the new manifold did indeed seal up against the head?? I've heard some here complain of losing the gasket, says to me they weren't flat when installed.

its was the tps i took it off and now it runs finr should that happen ?
