Help! Surging!
Hey Guys,
i have an intermitant problem with my 84 NA. Drove around about 100k over the weekend, when about 10k from home, the engine stated surging, runnign rough and lost power, seems tho it is only in the lower rev range, once the engine struggled up to about 3000 rpm, it cleared up, drop below that and it runs bad. If you stop and put it in park (its an auto) it idles and revs fine, attempt to take off and its all surging and rough again. Got home and gave some stick to clear it out, after a couple of hard runs around the block it cleared up, so thought it may have had a fuel blockage or something. But alas on the way to work this morning it did the same thing. tho only seemed to last for a few mins and cleared up. Havent had a chance to run the ECU codes yet, but just thought id see if anyone had any ideas on what it might be!
