replacement throtle body
ive seen and read in quite a few places that the original 50mm throtle body can be replace with the 60mm throtle body from a 200sx, or something to that effect, can anyone tell me what year 200sx i would pull this throtle body off of at a junk yard?
any help wouyld be appreciated...
thanks

It is the throttle body from a point injected KA24e; the 12-valve version SOHC. 1989 to early 90 240SX has them.
They also require a custom made spacer to line up the linkage. If you get a throttle body from a later 240SX with the KA24DE, then the throttle arm and throttle position sensor will not be correct for the Z.

There was a guy on eBay selling them for $20 less. I believe that he included all th egaskets and hardware too. Just search for 280ZX in Parts on eBay motors. He's not always listing them but he does relist about once a week or so.
