I had to take my cold air off my car today and put the factory air box back in because I'm taking it in for my smog inspection and the cold air won't pass the visual portion of the test... Damn, The throttle response difference is very noticeable. I can't wait to put my cold air back in.

Just make sure you leave at a fraction of a second before he does and you'll probably win in a street race to 60mph depending on how well you hook up and how good your reaction time is...

 

Im riding with my friend in his 1989 240sx down this long stretch of two lane when my roommate's friend pulls up in his 2003 Altima 2.5S (which his mommy bought him), they go at it and my friend loses to this altima im thinking crap, this blows. So a few weeks later the guy with the altima is at my house and we're about to get something to eat, he says "you, me tonight" I laughed and said ok. So I pull out onto the two lane halfway through first and floor it all the freakin way, . . spinning tires in second and all. .. . . hehe i pull three cars on him immediately =) we arrive at the place and i say "hmm and to think that your car cost your mom 46 times as much as mine". god i love nissans

 

a while ago this guy in a 240sx wanted to race me before he even saw my car, he walks over all cocky "WHAT YOU GOT, WHAT YOU GOT" trying to get that "pimp" walk going on, hes like, what year is that? 5 speed or auto

He gets in his car and pulls over to his buddies. i crusie over and everyones like heres your race! hes like i know better than that, and i notice they are all staring at my car. So im like alright im not wasting my time, go to pull out of the gas station, rev it up to 4500RPM and drop the clutch and i peeled out all the way until the end of 2nd gear. i looked in my rear view mirror only to see 10 ppl with their jaws on the floor

not yet, sometime after tuesday, im schedualed to go get my flowmasters put on that day. i told him id race after i get them installed.

Im still not sure about the race, i know i can eat stock mustangs alive but he has a performance chip that "Added 50-100hp" he claims, so we will see...

If he has to put V8 stickers on his car to feel good about it when it's only a V6, he's probably lyin' about the performance chip upgrade.

A quick check of HyperTech and SuperChips indicates that HyperTech only offers an upgrade if it's a 96 or 97 3.8L V6 and SuperChips has no upgrades for the V6 until 2004. These are the two most widely known auto performance chip manufactureres and are the most likely one's for him to have, unless his car is any year other than 96/97 or 2004.

You should ask him who's upgrade he used on his Mustang. Tell him you have a buddy that wants to upgrade his Mustang V6 and you told him about how cool his car was and he wants to use the one this dude uses.

If he says either HyperTech or SuperChips and his car is any year other than 96/97 or 04, you'll know it was a lie.

Ha HA that was so funny, I forgot to laugh LOL! Oops it slipped, damn emotional mal-functions. Anyway man it is all in good fun, I figured I was giving him a compliment. I mean I have been told I look like some famous people before. Even though some didn't match me, but nonetheless, I was grateful. And it made me feel better.

Anyways, when i get back to school on tuesday ill ask him what kind of chip he has in there and see what reply i get and then come back to you guys.

Although i realized i cant be racing him just yet because my breaks are trashed right now and im not gonna risk killing myself racing with bad breaks.
