Non-turbo fuel injection performance

Okay guys, I'm kinda new to 280zx's. The question is what all can I do to modify the fuel injection system for an 81 280zx non turbo? So far I know that I can get a high performance fuel pressure regulator.

The fuel pressure regulator can only increase fuel pressure. You don't want more fuel in there just yet. You need more air. Bigger cam, higher compression, ported head and intake... THEN maybe more fuel.

If you're looking for some electronic bolt-on or plug in type upgrades, they don't exist.

Is there a way I can modify the ECU? That I know of they don't make a chip for the nonturbos.

I'd be putting some C-3PO's in the gas tank right about now...

Yet. I'm two parts away from finishing a prototype but havent had time to get it done (seems like I've got a lot of crap to finish ). It's basically finished except for the built in A/F ratio gauge (requires you to have an 02 sensor, which most do). Once I get that done I'll be posting some pics of it here.
