Do you have to upgrde to a Z31 ECU to use Nistune or can it be used with the factory unit?

 

Yes, you must use a Z31 ecu. Originally you had to have an 88-89 n/a ECU, but I remember someone saying you can use any Z31 ecu... The main issue is being able to remove the stock EPROM and install the cable adapter.
