intake question

just wanted to know if anybody has a cold air intake system. Im going to get one but don't have the funds right now so what I was going to do is to get the NisMo air filter instead for the time being. Want to know if it is worth it to get the air filter or should I just wait to get the system? Also is there a big difference in horsepower gain between the two?

Any time you free up a air restriction, there will be some pony increase, it's a debate on how much. I've installed the Injen system on mine. Mainly for looks and a little air restiction clean up. As far as what brand to buy, they all calim to be good. It depends on what you are willing to pay for and how simple you want to keep the installation.

as faqr as shelling out about 100 bucks for a pretty tube and cone filter you would be better off going to a junk yard and getting a 60mm tb from a 200sx. i did it to mine and i got more of a power increase than you will ever see with a cai.
