might as well just make one from scratch, i think the 240 runners might be a little restrictive? i know nothing about l sreies carbed stuff. I envision equal length tuned runners, more modern injector attach points, and for god's sake just leave it natural aluminum.

They should be the same size runners as the FI version, as the ports in the head are just about the same.

The Best Thing About That Intake Is That 3 Cylinders Are Fed By 1 Tb. So Your Restricted By The Cam, Not By The "log" That Our Fi Manifold Has

Looks Like Somebody Really Wants That Intake. I Ran His Bid Up Past 140.00 So He Gets Screwed A Bit. Ill Go Back Later And Make Sure He Really Pays For It. Ill Pay 150 For It But Anything More Is Crazy

BUZZZZZZZZZZZ! Wrong answer!

Actually, the runners in the 240Z & 260Z carbed intake manifolds are 1.37" internal diameter and the FI manifolds from the 280Z & 280ZX are 1.25" internal diameter!

So, actually, the 240 & 260 carbed manifolds flow more volume of air than the FI mainfolds!

So, this configuration has more potential than the stock FI manifolds and is why FI guys making really big power are using custom manifolds with larger runners and properly designed surge tanks.

I'm not sure the surge tank included in this auction meets that criteria as it would have to be run on a flow bench to verify the efficiency of it's design.

Also, TWM now makes a "direct" bolt on ITB replacement for the dual SU carb's.

Of course, they're charging a little more than the $220 that the ebay piece is currently going for.

You guys need to learn how to bid using ebay. NEVER make a bid early. Typically, I wait until the last 5 seconds on something I'm seriously interested in. This minimizes the possibility that someone will come back in a day or two and place a counter bid. If my max bid isn't enough to win it in the last 5 seconds, then it just wasn't meant to be.

I won a newly rebuilt set of CV axels for $80 this way!

I Usually Put One Just Higher Bid So "myebay" Is Set Up Then Wait And See. Then During The Last Hour Ill Watch And Wait Until I Need To Make My Bet Like That. I Just Ran Up The Bids Cause I Was Ticked I Couldnt Get It.

yeah I usually put a very small bid on something just to let others know that there is someone interested in the auction. Then i wait til its just about done and throw my max bid at it. You win some, you lose some, and sometime the modem stops working

I guess it's time for me to get cracking on my ITB idea, using Honda TBs.
