hey guys im pretty new to the z's and motor skills i've done my fair share of fabrication and body work and suspension so im still learning. but my question is i'm looking to upgrade my injectors since i will be getting a bigger turbo, front mount, intake, exhaust, down pipe, walbro fuel pump and aftermarket fuel rail and i want to get some nice injectors but im not sure what to even start looking for. A buddy of mine said he thinks they are ev1 style injectors. Is this correct? If so thats all i need to know so i can go find me some bad boys lol. i've tried looking on this forum but they never state what injectors they are so i figured i would just post it. thanks let me know

 

most common upgrade is benz injectors they are good up to i wanna say 400hp they have a flow rate of 420cc's they come out of the 73-75 450sel.

SVO, GN, DSM, RX7, Mercedes, take your pick... just gotta be able to control them. The stock turbo AFM can be adjusted to compensate for more fuel, but it's not going to be fine tuned. The 280zxt ecu can't be tuned...

yea i was going to wait to put new injectors and the bigger turbo and what not on till i get a megasquirt ecu so i can get it tuned

 

I picked up some 87-92 Toyota Supra Turbo fuel injectors. These are 440cc/min high impedence injectors They fit well in my intake manifold, almost like they were made for it. And if you have enough fabing skills all you have to do is make some aluminum clamps to hold them the the intake. If that helps.....
