I make a waterlog!
Well, in the hunt for a place to put a thermostaic switch for my new electric fan I decided to just make a place. I took a piece of 1and 1/4" copper pipe, two endcaps and a handfull of 1/2" to 3/8"pipe reducing bushings and a couple barb fittings, drilled the endcaps to accept the barb fittings, and drilled the pipe to accept the bushings. Then I soldered everything together and voila! Now ive got a place to put a thermostatic switch, temp sender, and whatever else I want! I will mount it in one of the bypass lines on the head. I figure thats the best place to put it as the heater hoses have that valve. I guess I could put it in the upper rad hose too, well whatever. I just wanted to let everyone know its possible.

If somebody could tell me how to post pics without doing anything too technical, i might be persuaded to put batteries in my digicam and take some pics. Its really not that fancy though, If i had a tig, it would all be aluminum and pretty.
