Do you think if I drilled a 1.5in. round hole in the frame rail it would affect anything?? Just in the engine compartment to plumb wiring through.. Thanks in advance

 

Not a damn thing Go for it. For the sake of it not cracking though, I wouldn't do it directly in the same vicinity of anything structural like an engine mount. Give it a little space just in case. But otherwise it wouldn't affect the structure or stiffness.

 

Damn! When I saw that the title of this thread was "Holes?", I thought it was gonna be about trashing guys who own 350Z's... oh well.

Umm, just to be safe (I'm a firm believer in firm chassis...) I'd weld in a section of a pipe that fits snugly in the hole. But thats just me.
