use a relay and wire them in that way. use the wire from one headlight to trigger the relay. fix it properly once, and never do it again. the relay usually comes with instuctions, so read them and it will work great!

Do I just buy the relay at autozone or standard auto parts? Will one relay work for the low and high lights?

I didn't do anything w/ the relays (stock setup has 2 relays). The headlight switch connectors were the problem.

So if you put the relay at the switch connector, specifically what wire (color?) did you put it inline with, and where did you tap for power off of? I examined my headlight switch connection, and there is no fried or blackened connection, so I wonder if something else is the cause of my intermittently dim left headlight.

headlight dim

I have no idea what to do. I just bought one and drove it down from CHI. Half way down it went from dim to bright. Unfortunately it's dim again. I don't think the solution is to bypass the relays on the right fender. However there may be corrosion between there and the headlight. If you figure it out, please let me know and I'll try it too.
