Got a really crazy idea...

Thinking about doing something completely different & crazy.

HKS AIC (Additional Injector Controller) to drive 2 additional fuel injectors on demand & a decent Nitrous Oxide kit on a stock L28E. Maybe a 100hp shot...

I think it would be fun & would probably work just fine...for awhile!

What do you guys think? Why not, got an extra engine, just in case.

Why not just use a wet system?

I agree with NismoPick, by the time you buy the dry system, and add in the cost of the extra HKS stuff to add fuel seperately, you might as well go with a tuned wet system. I think that would leave less chance for errors with the tuning.

the guys on hybridz do the 4 banger swap, say its pretty nice, just sounds weird tho. then you can call theirs rice burners i guess. theres less room for error with the wet system, and better in the pocket.

Of course it would be a wet system, but I don't trust the stock fuel system to support it without some MORE gas than those puny injectors flow...I am thinking cheap here...Back in Okinawa, I used to see old AICs for sale for next to nothing all the time. The great thing about most modern nitrous kits & they're fairly universal & I can always add it to another car later on.

you may wanna upgrade your fuel pump, get a universal one, there like 100 bux, and work great. mines got 900lph, way more than i need, but it gets me there.

900Lph?

Not aware of ANY aftermarket fuel pump rated that high...Even the big Aeromotive ones don't flow that much. My 240SX with a built SR & over 500 rwhp is using a single Walbro 255Lph fuel pump, wired to run @ 14.5 volts through a relay directly to the battery.
