What differnce if any is there between the AUTO ECU and a MANUAL ECU ?

The ZX im looking too getting is a auto but its so cheap that i can throw away the chance

Also the AFM could that be damage if it recived a large shunt ? It has no extrenal damage that i could see. And would it be possible to fit a CAI in place to where the Air Cleaner assembly sits ?

While im here i might aswell ask - The L28 has a slight slant on it facing the righthand side (opposite side to the fuel rail) is this normal ?

I am told the slant mount is for cooling pruposes to stop air locks in the water galleries like occured when GM fitted the Nissan engine into Holden Commodores.
