I'm sure there are a few opinions out there.. which coil is the best to run on my bone stock 83 zx non turbo? MSD Blaster 2? where do you guys get yours?

 

I'm using the MSD Blaster II. Runs plenty fine for me, I'm also using a Mallory HyFire 6AL. eBay is usually the cheapest, but make sure it's new, as used ones can be burnt out. Also check out the SS (Solid State) option... much longer lasting, and less potential trouble than the oil cylinder coil.

Just put a blaster 2 in my 79. She runs like a champ! Just note that it will not fit in the stock coil bracket.
