Alright guys my coworker has a used Apexi VAFC 1 he wants to sell it to me for 100 bucks

He currently uses it on his 2007 honda rsx turbo he had it modafied in a place in albq. New Mexcio

Now can i use this item on my 280zxt ? if so Nismopick or some one with more know " how " than i to help me choose if i should get it or not ?

 

Any body have this on there car ?

To answer your question: No, it will not work.

Why?

#1: The 280zx L28ET isn't a Honda VTEC engine.
#2: VAFC's / SAFC's / VPC's require a MAF style efi system. They will not work correctly w/ an AFM.

You could upgrade to a Z31T ecu & maf, then use a SAFC. Lifegrddude has a write-up on that.

is it worth spending $100 on something you can't put on your motor... idk maybe you should think about that....

unless you a good friend who would buy it for $100 then sell it for $150

Last I checked the VG30DE isn't a Honda motor either... but who knows... maybe it will work.
