no. It says right in the ad it is for a T3. That is for a stock turbo in a Z31, and will not have the right exhaust angle in a 280ZX. You would need a full custom pipe to be welded to that.

but bleach the problem with the 280zx is that it has the 4 bolt exhaust then to the 3 bolt down pipe.. so that down pipe is the same on alreayd on a 1984 -1989 300zx z-31 ? i will be having 2 donor 300zx z-31s in about 2 days.. i think i have a wild idea !!

I don't see that downpipe benefitting you any. Like Bleach said, it's not the right angle. Notice how it includes the wastegate... the pipe will stick straight out the back of the turbo... I don't think that leaves much room between the pipe & firewall. I made my own 2.5" downpipe... wasn't very hard. Just got a .5" hardened steel plate & used a metal hole saw to bore the middle. Then just welded in the mandrel pipe.

Nismo619, do you know what a T3/T4 hybrid is? It means that the compressor side is a T4 and the exhaust side is still just a T3. And the Z31 did not use the same turbo from 84-89. It switched to a smaller turbo during it's production run, but I'm not sure which year it was that it changed.

The >87 300zx use the T25 turbo with the 5 bolt face. Smaller turbo with less power potential than the T3 used on the earlier years. Only thing it did was spool faster.
