Some women seem to like the idea of riding around in an old neat looking car. They seem to like the idea of bragging about it sometimes.

Yeah but most woman would rather be seen in a 06 ZO6 then a 66 Vette. Same with the Z, most woman would rather be in a 350Z then a 240Z. Woman like new shiny things Of course, there are always anomolies to this theory.

well my wife and I have this couple friends I think that is what you call it a husband and a wife that is our friend, any way he has a 79 stingray with an automatic trans, and his wife has a trans am. I know my z would out do the vet, but not the trans am. my wife and I were visiting them today and come to find out both the cars are auto shift, and the transmitions are screwd up. they were both bot in that condition. he promises me a just for fun run with the vet you know not abusing the cars, just pushing them a little far when the transmition in the vet is fixed.

Yeah Camaros, and Firebirds were done away in 2002. But I know Camaro are putting one out, either next year or '08. And I am sure the Firebird will not be far behind. Believe me, I am a Firebird buff. I own one, a '75 turned into a '77 Trans Am clone.

The new camaro design is *** ugly too. They tried to go all retro and it just didn't come out looking right. At certain extreme angles it doesn't look too bad. But when you see then entire car it just doesn't look right.

New Camaro

The March 2006 issue of Motor Trend Magazine has the new Camaro on the cover and a story inside on it. On the whole 280zx vs, Corvette....Yeah I got smoked tonight by a 1979 Vette, I knew I would but he just kept pestering me! I know he wasn't stock either but still, come on it a little Z! Made me want to get a 383 stroker motor with hidden turn down pipes and a fake single exhaust pipe so I could mess with him then politely give him the finger as I drove off in a cloud of tire smoke. I did have a little fun with the car before the Vette Incident, I found a private parking lot and started doing some dougnuts kinda like Nismo's sig...only not as cool. I will have to work on that.

Wahoo! I don't care what anyone says about burning tires... donuts are fun! Get an LSD and then it gets real fun!

I definitely like the first one better, but you'll still need to grow a mullett in order to drive one effectively!

The first couple of pics are earlier pics. The last silver one is the newest design. The earlier ones arent so bad, but the new design is ugly IMO.

A girl from a local car forum made the comment that the final concept of the camaro/firebird look way too much like late model cadillacs, which I couldn't agree more. You could easily slap a sticker on it that said CTS-(S,R,GTR (LOL) or X) and it'd sell

Now for a few more concepts, stats are set in stone yet but, people think somewhere in the 500hp range with a price tag nearing the $100,000 mark. MKV-Mark Five times what it's worth

I'll be the first to say, . . . or rather motion for a *GAG*

That yellow one looks like a Sunfire (the previous gen) and the red one looks like a Saturn concept I remember seeing. The profile of the black one isn't so bad but the front view is hideous. I hope it doesn't end up looking like that. That's going to be cheesy if Toyota makes it a Lexus though. The Supra wasn't about luxury. It was about brute speed. Somehow, I think having a Lexus badge will take away from that.
This luxo-brand offshoot is lame IMO.

I can't remember which, but I know atleast one of the manf. (either Toyota, Nissan, or Honda) is going to release their american counterparts in Japan. So there would actually be either Acura, Lexus, or Infiniti over there. I can't remember which one though. I have a feeling in my gut saying it's Lexus though.

Now that Nissan has confirmed the release of the GT-R under the Nissan brand rather than the Infinity brand, it's unlikely that Toyota will release the Supra under the Lexus brand name.

Those are terrible Camaros, ugghh! Maybe by a small chance the 1st pic looks allright, but then going to the other pics, they get worse. I really hope Firebird doesn't follow. Unless they do better than Chevy. I would be sickened to see something with a Firebird or TA badge. That looks like a fat turd. But the Supra looks allright, not too terrible. But they still could do better.
