1982 280zx starts right up cold but once engines warms up. She dies and doesn’t start
I’ve got a 1982 280 ZX. Non-turbo. I bought it for $850. Guy said it just needed a distributor so I replaced it. And she started right up. But I’ve been trying to figure out why once the engine warms up she dies and then won’t start back up until it’s cold again.I hooked up a spark plug tester to it and it seems like it’s not getting a big spark or spark at all once it’s warmed up. But I’ll have to check again. I put it up on Facebook to sell because I’m in school and don’t really feel like trying to fool with it. Even though I’m in a mechanics program. But I feel like I’ll get a lot more hits if it actually runs well. And it might be nice to actually have the car up and going. I’ve honestly got no clue what it could be any help is appreciated! I just set up an account here so don’t be too harsh on me guys haha And sometimes it won’t start unless I unplugged the Thermo time injector. Kind of like the injectors just flooding the system
