hard starting on cold days

any of you guys have problems starting the engine on cold days? my z is almost impossible to start when the temp is below 40, but it starts fine over 40. ive gone over the and checked everything with the cold start system ('75 fuel rejection) and cant seem to figure it out.

You've checked the cold start injector & air regulator? The prob is one (or both) of those parts.

these primative systems really arent cut out for the cold, just pedal it a bit till it gets going. but just follow what nismopick says, if those dont work or have been removed, it doesnt help the situation much

hard starting

Yea, my car has always been that way even before i supercharged it. I changed out all the cold start stuff long ago. Its almost like it doesnt deliver spark when it is cranking. I thought it might be some kinda relay that i overlooked or something.anyway, guess i'll have to mod it. thanx

Unless somebody has more guidance, all Zs are cold blooded. Even with a properly tuned standalone, they run like sh** until they warm up...
