Stock suspension ??
Stock suspension ??
I was just looking at my coil springs last night and was wondering if the stock suspension was progressive? It looks like the upper coils are wound closer together than the lower ones. Or is it possible i already have a worn out drop kit.(eibach,.. etc..) i was just wondering if anyone that knows/has the stock suspension could take a peek and/or let me know? I am looking at getting some new suspension(lowering springs)and dont want to end up with the exact same setup i already have. thanks in advance, Luke
Stock aren't progressive nor are they wound closer together @ the top / bottom. What do your current springs look like? Rusted? Powder coated black? Do they have any logos or part #'s stamped on them?
after closer inspection, they are not progressive, it must have been the angle i was looking at them, but.. they are rusty with black powdercoat after rubbing through some rust, and i noticed on my driver side rear spring there is purple paint on a part of it. any thoughts? (too rusty/dirty to see numbers or logos..) my shocks are silver, and look much newer...i think kyb maybe?

Obviously I don't subscribe the the theory that a hard ride automatically equals performance..
