Re: Stock Rx7 TT or Stock 300zx TT
The Rx7 weighs about 500lbs less and has about 15HP less than the Z and has about 9.6kg less torque than the Z. So of course these are the Japanese specs for the cars. I would say about even with the Z having a little bit of an edge on the Rx7 maybe.

Re: Stock Rx7 TT or Stock 300zx TT
actually im pretty sure a 5speed TT RX7 is faster than a 5speed 300TT both stock.....most numbers i have seen for the 300zx 0-60 is in the mid 5s.....the rx7 i have seen at 4.9 and low 5s....i mean they are pretty close but just since the rx7 is so damn light it has a way better advantage. but if i were you i would deffinetly get the 300zx....they're so much better than an rx7...dont get me wrong i like them too but, 300zx all the way man.

Re: Stock Rx7 TT or Stock 300zx TT
I agree with the general opinion here....
I was in the market for a 93+ Rx-7 or a 93+ 300zxTT. The Rx-7 is a better performer hands down IMO. Quicker times, better handling. But reliability is awful. Check any Rx-7 forum engines have to be replaced often. Can't up the boost safely, you'll blow the engine. The stock turbos get fried from the close-coupled pre-cat (have to immediatly replace with downpipes to prevent damage). The list goes on and on. The Rx-7 is a money pit.
