If you're lucky, you'll find a junker on a lot near you. Sort your results by distance from your zip. Call the 1-800 numbers and ask if they have the whole car on the lot. Drive there and claim your parts. Your treasure find.

 

Thanks I tried that . The nearest one is 200 miles away. About a year ago I could buy it at the local auto parts but not anymore

 

The 79-81 calipers (Caliper with a P not a B) have been out of production for a long time now. Rebuild kits are getting scarce. If you are on Facebook, check out the groups "280ZX Drivers" and "Datsun Parts and Needs" as you can probably find someone parting out a ZX.

 

Thanks. Has anyone tried the 82 rear calipers on an 80 ?

 

Wow, I can get these at a local wrecking yard. I dont' see the 280ZX in the yards very often though.
(just over an hour drive away)

I didn't know they were getting that hard to find. I only see about one 280ZX a year in the yards...
