Not too many wheel options for the S30/S130's... we've had quite a few "wheel" thread discussing the options.

thanks for the "click the search answer" which is amazing considering ive already done that and again i listed the ones ive found i wanted to know if OTHER companies made a 4 lug with a 0offset...or going to a wheel like rod (not rob sry) has what kind of "adapting" would my dad have to do (hes not big into changing anything on his z) as he buys everypart through nissan and doesnt want to mess too much with spacers or changing to a 5lug pattern or other things anyone know?

Spacers are your best bet. Ross at Modern Motorsports will make them however you want up to 2'' thick with the correct hub bore for the 280zx to eliminate wobble and the correct hub pilot for your new wheels. I have 16x7 alloys from a mid 90's mustang with a 1'' spacer made by him. I could have gone a little thicker for tire clearance, but wanted to keep it conservative.

It's an ADAPTOR

It's NOT a SPACER.

Big difference. Crucial distinction.

Friends don't let friends run spacers.

... er'... I mean... Rod.

Try www.centerlinewheels.com They have quite a selection for our ZX's. Most of their wheels are "polished" though, but I'd say it's still shiny enough like chrome that maybe he'll be happy with it.

what about the wheels that Chinesekid has on his 280ZX? He got the largest ones, 16x8 zero offset. They are probably available in 16x7

i think hes gonna shell out the 920 to get the centerlines that i picked out...only thing is the price but more is the time its gonna take but oh well....by then i should almost be done with mine so ill be happy. and what wheels are those bleach?? pics/price? cause id like a nice set of 15x8 or 16x8 that will fit under the fenders without "spacers/adapters" or hittin the front suspension

He mentioned they were around $100 a wheel so thats why I mentioned it. Nice and cheap. They look good. I forgot the name of them.
hahaha... yes, they fit under stock susension. A 280ZX has DEEP fenders. yOu can fit 8.5 inch wide up front and 10 inch wide in the back without rolling the fenders... and you can lower your car.

the S30 series are not nearly as deep. I've seen 8 inch wide zero offset on those cars and the wheels themselves stick out just beyond the fenders... fat tires make it worse.

(sorry for the supersize pics)

my wheels were basically 18x8 -8mm offset.
I did have minor rubbing on the front right tire only when turning full lock and hitting a bump... (my driveway) for some reason that corner was also about 1/4 inch lower. Not my problem anymore...

They look like custom projector conversion in a 7" round housing. Or they could be cheap $50 eBay knock offs to look cool, but not actually work as projectors.

Those are NismoPick's headlights. They are real projector units just mounted to a black backing. No H4 or headlight at all in there. Just the projector. He made them himself.

and the black car is not mine. That is the car we want to find out about where he got the wheels from and what they are called.

Yeah... those are Infinity J30 projectors w/ BMW HID's. They have the proper cut off pieces, but I still need to align them. I blinded just about every trucker on the way down to MSA... and ChineseKid too.

Nicely done. Now you need a set of blinker conversion lenses... with bulbs in them...

Does anyone know what the front cap on the Black Z is?
It that the bumper or a molded bumper?
Thanks,

looking at this thread and saw that chinesekid has the sportmax. i have a set of these and was wondering if there would be any issues with running 245/45/16 on a 280zx. would it be able to clear the inside with this tire and also plan on lowering an inch. thanks for your help guys.

In the back there is no issue, not even when lowering it. In the front you might get minimal rubbing. Or go with 225 in front and you'll be fine.
I had different wheels on my 280ZX with 225 all around. The front was very close on the outside but cleared. The back had inches to spare all around.
