has any one rebuilt and customized their front end to have SLA suspension? I wunderd if they had kits to do this. I have never heard of it and havn't seen it. I figured it would help with traction I mean with the added camber adjustablility, and caster too. camber roll plays an important roll in the tire contact with the road surface during turns so wouldn't that mean you want more control on what your caster and camber is. I guess it wouldn't matter if you had short long arm or two long controll arms I just figured it would be best to have sla on a sports car such as the zx
You're talking about this style suspension?

That would take an enormous amount of work, for little benefit. Coil over struts, and camber plates & bushings will work just as well for adjustability & won't cost 2 arms, 3 legs, and 1000 hours of your life.

For an all out race car that kind of mod would definitely be worth it (if you could still find a class to be competitive in). But on a street or even a mild race machine, I seriously doubt it'd be worth the work. And you'd have to get the geometry perfect. For a street/track car you could achieve similar results by making what you've got adjustable.
