These eBay Angle-Eye headlights any good?

Anyone know anything about, or have used these headlights? Interested in using them as a cheap base for a projector/hid setup.

Assuming they're the same brand as mine, I can tell you that, due to the shape of the "dome" on the backside of each unit, part of it will be in contact with the metal headlight holder of the 280ZX. They'll still fit though.

Do you want the 'cool' look of the blue outline or are you looking to upgrade the performance of your headlights?

If you just want the bling factor then those are fine. If you actually want to get better performance out of your headlights, get a set of Cibie H4's from:

http://www.danielsternlighting.com

And get a pair of 130/100 watt Narva bulbs to go with them. You'll fall over from the blast of crystal clear white light coming from those bulbs out of the Cibie H4's. It will seriously be unlike anything you've ever seen before.

Oh, wow... didn't even notice they had the blue! I don't care one bit about the blue. I do like the Halo effects around the edge of the housing though.

I'm just looking for something to use as a housing to do the projector/hid swap.

Since you're going to be cutting into them, I wouldn't care too much. I think 007 cracked one the first time, so it might be a good idea to buy the least expensive. I have HID's as well, but no projector lenses. They still look good, but throw out a wider beam. I plan on filling over the entire headlight bucket & just having HID projectors mounted.
