I just replaced my tail lights on my 83 zxt to those more simple ones (without the lines). I'm not sure where they came from but they sure look a hell of a lot better. btw, I had to use the guts of my old tail lights because the new ones had an extra bulb (I always end up with extra parts when I install something..lol). Everything fit perfectly. I paid around 100$ for them but well worth it. Good luck!

what is the production date, if it was october or later, it could have gotten the CV or might have been changed with the newer style.

Interchangeable thru what years?

can i use s30 tail lights on my 82? i really hate the "pinstripe" tail lights.

IMO they are ugly and bland. it looks like the tail light designer had too much saki and winged it...than sobered up in 83!

oooiii.... this thread died A LONG time ago (please check the dates before posting on old threads).

280ZX tail lights are interchangeable through all years 79-83 280ZX.
Take a look at the S30 280Z tail lights and you will see that they are NOT "interchangeable" with the S130 280ZX... that goes for all S30 vs S130 body parts.

Is there a place to get aftermarket tail lights all together?
