Painting Interior Pieces(rattle can)

I am currently in the process of painting the plastic pieces in the zx. I was wondering if anyone here has done it? If so does it hold up pretty well? I already have some pieces painted and installed and it seems to be doing pretty good.

My buddy did all the interior on his 1981 Grand Prix w/ rattle can paint. It was a special car fabric spray paint. Looked good, but we all decided it's better to just get a different color fabric/material. Kinda looks ricey / cheap.

Looks really good! Black over tan is about the best option. just remember not to scratch anything, or you'll have a nice tan streak.

looks good... I got as many black parts as I could and then I used this vynal/fabric stuff by Duplicolor. and as long as you prep it really good it comes out great. And if you let it settle in it stays on reall good.

What looks ricey is painting your interior neon red or green or something like that.

Just make sure you use scotch brite and paint prep first. And get special Vynal dye, not just normal spray paint.

Good luck and make sure you post pictures when everything is done.

i got a factory black interior for sale, you scratch it, it stays black, check it out in marketplace or pm me. i used the spray with the fancy prep stuff, it doesnt hold up for a long time, bout 2 years or so, depends i guess, the door panels seem to wear down from having my arm there. works if it needs it and you dont have any other options, dont use anything but mild soap and water on it though, or you will be re-painting!!! trust me. i used SEM brand

Ha Ha you beat me to it man. Yeah I will stand on the Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric spray paint. If you have doubts check out my pics, and my page.(Socal-s130) Most of what you see was sprayed by that special paint. And I am verry happy with it. And I continue to use it here and there, as I am finishing my interior and such.
