Help, detailing engine

I am detailing the egine compartment. So far I am using windex, a toothe brush, an old t-shirt and a nimble finger. What cleaning soultion recommendations does anyone have, don't want to effect paint or rubber parts in a negative way. Anyhting better than an old t and tooth brush?

By the way, the brass is looking great after the film is removed.

Purple Power. Full strength. Big brush for the big spots, toothbrush for the nooks and crannies. Engine de-greaser if your **** is really nasty. Best to take it to the manual car wash first.

i would use engine degreaser at a manual car wash, spray it on let it set and push your car into the bay and pressure wash the crap out of it.

That's what I meant. There are detailed instructions on the degreaser can, just follow them.

its a 280zx 99% of your problems is a direct result of your wiring connectors or EFI system.

*nods* Very much so, I already have to replace every single connector inside the engine bay. Which I'll probably do when I do my ECU upgrade.

As for detailing engines, I like to use compressed air at the highest rating the handle can use. Just make sure to have a face shield on lol

I use some of those cheap green scratch pads for stuff like the block and intake along with some degreaser and WD-40. Made a world of difference.
