Hi all, I have a new to me 82 ZXT.
Working on the interior, I pulled the door panels off to fix the armrest and repaint, and (I think after that) the door open light on the dash stays on while driving, and the door courtesy lights. When I push the door switch in on the drivers side, nothing happens. On the passenger side, pushing the switch in turns the courtesy door light off, (so it's reversed).

I thought oh, must have swapped the wires on the light, but that wasn't it. Just started happening. Additionally, the clock doesn't display anymore. It seems to lose power when it's off (radio loses it's stations, clock reads 12:00, etc.. but it's done that since I've owned it. Did I maybe lose a ground some where? Or a relay perhaps?

It's a great car, engine is in great shape but the electrical seems a little bit haunted so far. And a paint job, which I'll be giving a whirl soon
Sure there will be lots more questions The Haynes book has been my BFF.

If nothing changes when the drivers door switch is pressed in or released, I'd start with replacing that one.
