Mine's motor has been working but the antenna is not moving.

Removed and took apart the apparatus to find a coiled white nylon cord that appears snapped.

Is this replaceable? Do i need to get a new antenna too or just the cord?

sometimes you can get an antenna from one with a screwed motor, but you can buy a universal antenna thats nice and shiny new for not much money.

Thanks Shady - any idea where to get the cable?

I searched but seem only get get replacement static antenna kits to replace the powered kind, or complete units (used). I just want the cable since my motor works fine.

Auto parts generic item?

I tried it with a Toyota Cressida and could never get it right. New one only around $50 and good luck finding the cord.

yeah search the wrecking yards for a chord but just head to your parts store and grab a whole new one. might be worth the less effort in the end.
