I finally installed my headunit into my Turbo Z. Anyway it's all in there, I have the cable for the antenna hooked up so I can get the radio, but I can't seem to get the antenna to do anything. I left the toggle switch to raise it up and down, but it won't go up at all. Do I need to wire the antenna directly into the headunit? I'm trying to look at the wiring schematics for that antenna switch, but I'm not sure which wire I need to hook up then. I think it has a blue, blue/white, and a blue/red wire?

 

According to the Haynes wiring schematics (page 249), the YG (yellow / green) wire from the switch hooks up to the radio antenna / remote wire.

 

Alright I was trying to connect that green/yellow wire to my headunit, but still had no luck as far as the antenna goes. Unless maybe I have to set it just like I had to do with my External Input for my mp3 player
