VK56 swap, need info please.

Im contemplating doing a VK56 swap into my 75 280z, but i need to know first what is the most reliable, powerful, easy to work with, and readily available version of the engine and engine management system.

I plan on running my own ECU so when i say engine management system i mean engines with as little of the regulatory modules on the engines (EGRV, Fuel content analyzer for flexfuel, etc) as possible.

Also, if you happen to know extensive info about crank/flywheel/trans input shaft for the nissan titan, I'm thinking about mating a T56 tremec to this so I'd like to know spline specs, dimensions, bolt arrangement, etc.

Let me know asap!

Another important thing you'll need for this: a fat wallet.

Good luck with the swap

Not to be a "downer", but with questions like this, I don't think you're ready to take on this project... (no offense).

I was planning on running TEC3 ecu, the rest is still up in the air. I just wanted to see what interested people had to say about the idea. Also that texasnissan link is dead.

The fat wallet comment is VERY much true. I'm doing the same thing with my 78 and Ive still been tinkering away on it for a year now.
