www.zcargarage.com as well.

All 3 of those shops should be booked solid, if you want it done you'll need to call them and get a price and scheduled.

SpecialtyZ is in Cali and it is the ONLY remaining shop that I would take my car to (and I'm all the way in Chicago). I've heard bad reviews of Z1 and I've hardly heard anything about Z Car Garage, so I'd be leary about them as well. Specialty Z has one of the fastest street-driven Z32's in the world and they've never gotten a bad review from what I've seen.

search TT.NET... at one time, Z1 was kind of a big joke over there. Especially with how they treated their own (Ash) for a while.

... Ha. Ha. Funny.

Let's see any of your cars keep up with one of my "Rice Rockets".

No, the reason I'm back, I may be getting back into the Z world... It's been a long time, I know, but I think I'm ready to dive back into it. This time with more money, more knowledge, and a bit more maturity, haha.

Once the Audi's gone, I'll be ready financially. So we'll see in the weeks to come, I've got my eye on a 1990 Twin Turbo, hopefully it'll still be around when I'm ready to buy.

Like I said... We'll see.

For some reason, I was never able to sign up on TwinTurbo.net... After multiple tries, and E-Mailing the Administrators, I just gave up. And that's kind of strange, maybe I've been out of the Z game for too long, but I seem to remember Z1 being a pretty reputable company. However, I did hear how they treated Ash. Didn't he go out on his own after that?

Yep... he was leaving anyway, but the way they parted ways was shady (Z1 actually bought the rights to AshleyPowers.com right after they split... real professional). I've heard reviews going both ways... when they do good work, they do great work, but when they mess up, it always seems really bad (there was one instance where they sold a guy stock turbos that they said were sport 500's... had the guy never measured, he would've never known).

Either way, Z1 is across the country from where kevtt is, so he wouldn't be looking at them for this conversion anyway.

in sandyago, one should explore z-whizz or c & d--both are mentioned in the sandiego z car club newsletter-- and i am certain they are listed in the phone book?--i take m y z31 to z-whizz-others in the club swear by c&d.
