Valve cover gasket stuck

Valve cover gasket stuck
I have a l28e which has never had the valve cover gasket replaced. Finally, after 113,000 miles, I took off the valve cover to replace the gasket and it has become one with the valve cover. Anyone have some advice on how to get it off?
