Underhood pics of turbo'd 280 needed

Hey guys I've been looking through your site for around 2 years and this site rocks. Anyhow, I'm in the process of redoing my 75 Z, as in it's hanging from a routissere. I'll be installing an 82 turbo, intercooler and other goodies and was wondering what brackets or mounts underhood that I may be able to get rid of while she's stripped down. I want to clean things up, hopefully someone here might have pics that will help me on the decision making process.

flippinz: how do you like your rotisserie setup? Did you purchase it, or is it a diy design? Just curious.

A friend and I saw a real cool one at Cruisin the Coast but it was 1700.00 with tires. We did some research and basically built it stronger than what we saw out there and it costs about 650.00. It was the best 650 I've spent. I was able to mount my car, level it out, put it upside down or any other angle I want and can do it by myself. I would think a heavier car would require some help. Being able to lay the car on it's side made it a dream to get that old tar and undercoat off and position it for various metal repair/replacements. One thing I would suggest if you venture to do it yourself don't rent a chop saw thinking that will get the job done quickly. I did and spent many hours just making straight cuts on 3 inch square steel pipe. I had the supports to cut on an angle and went to a machine shop to make sure they were perfectly 45 degree cuts and it took them 10 minutes to make 8 cuts. That alone was worth 2.50 a cut I have a pic of my car hanging on it in the gallery.

Hey snow, more pics the better, ecspecially since we have the same body style. I plan on using megasquirt or SDS or maybe the z31 setup just depends on availability. I'm trying to avoid regretting moving something after paint is done..

Progression sounds good

All sounds good. Really interested in how your running the turbo plumbing I used to work on these things back in the day but always stock nothing special. Are you planning on assembling MS or getting it already done? Oh by the way I like you little warning sticker, my wife had made me one when I had my Hemi truck.

hahaha... nice! i dont know if ill get pre assembled or what.... i still got a little time till that happens. i want to know how i can get a coil on plug or similare setup running in my car though. such as 2 coild per plug the coil pack method, but i dont know how i would achieve that, and the turbo plumbing, dont sweat it, its a tight fight between teh tranny enging block and walls/frame in the engine bay, but the stock plumbing fits fine, well, most of it, lol, your gonna need a custom exhaust welded up but just like a cat back length section, or header back sort of length. ill get pics up tonight for yah.
