trouble replacing ball joints on a 240z
you probably think i am kinda stupid for asking this but i have never done this kind of work and its giving me a lot of headache when the haynes manual is not very helpful so could someone please walk me through this
thanks Mike
thanks Mike
you might want to start by telling us what you're having problems with.
To remove the balljoint, unbolt the trailing arm (2 14mm bolts) and 2 support bolts holding the balljoing in to the control arm
unbolt 2 bolts holding the steering knuckle to the strut.
separate strut and steering knuckle
remove cotter pin from balljoint nut, unbolt nut, and use a pickle fork or a clamp to separate the balljoint from the steering knuckle.
