What size tires can I use on my 81zx? 205/60r15 ,215/60r15

I'm using 215/60/15 and I think those are slightly oversize. 205/60/15 is the proper outside diameter. If you want wider, you can use 225/55/15 for a proper replacement.

go to this page and enter the Z's stock tire size. Then enter your own to see how close it is. No tire is exactly the same size, but try to get it within 1 or 2 miles per hour.

I think 195/70/14 is stock for a ZX.

On my 83 ZX I had the original rims size 14, and on the front I had pirelli tiries sizes 215 60 and on the rear 235 60 and I had no problems. So I don't know if it would change with a size 15 or 16
