Hey I've got the 4 spoke 15" stock wheels. I'm looking to get some new performance tires for them. I was wondering how wide of tires can i put on w/o spacers to keep it from hitting the shocks. I checked the space between my pirelli p400 195's and the front shock and didn't find too much space. I wanted at least 205's. Also what brand/model tires would you guys recomend at less than $100 apiece. This is a daily driver so i need good wet dry traction.

you can go with 225s with out it rubbing... ive gone as large as 235s on my stock rims... a good tire to go with would be the Yokohama AVS ES100 you can get them for under $90 on www.tirerack.com they're rated pretty high and are laited at ultra high performance... those are the tires i will be going with when i put my 17s on my car...
