Gotcha... I have the AFM out, took me a bit to get the screws out, but have managed to move it 0.5 mm or so and tighten it back up. Cleaned the contacts as well. Should be able to get it re installed after work.
Finally finished the remaining connectors on the thermotime, the water temp sensor etc...

I think the stumble is gone... just put the AFM back in and it revs smoothly up the tach... will test a bit more this evening once I get some help.

Sweet victory... now if anyone has any issues like that, we refer them to you, the new resident expert. Isn't it amazing all the things you learn and go through chasing down a problem.

Yea, was fantastic. If I wasn't a 42 year old man I would be grinning like a school boy. Wait, I am grinning like a school boy.
But yea, learned a ton, looking forward to moving on to the clutch. The test drive(s) last night were a blast, the AFM was only barely working. I'm in IT, this is the first time I have ever attempted anything like a car.
