The dash had some changes through the years but was mostly the same design as far as gauge layout. The seats, steering wheel, hatch vents, wheel options, the struts changed a little, side impact and construction of the cars. (more weight in later years)
Yes, and the engine size and the fact that the 280Z uses fuel injection and the earlier years had carbs. But they are pretty much the same body. You can take a 280Z and make the outside appear to be a 240Z if you wish.

I just wanted to make sure.
I've been looking at a 260Z, but was unsure b/c I've seen a lot of 280z's that I like visually... just didn't know if they'd look the same after the aero kits & such. Awesome... think I'll pick up my second Z this next week then (have an 88SS 300zx now) and start the long process of build-up & resto.!
