rear window louvers
Hey there. I just got a rear window louver off of ebay and it looks great and was cheap. On it is printed Avat 280Z. So I know it was made for my car. When I recieved it it has no way of attaching it to the back of my car. My question is to any one that might have the same kind of rear louvers. How do yours attach? And where did you get it so I can look for the hardware myself.
Thanks for the help. The forum is the best.

Re: rear window louvers
It depends on what kind they are . I have some , but mine mounts to the car . There are two hinges at the top , they each have three screws that screw in about 1.5 " from top of window . The bottom is held by four thumb screws about 2" from the bottom of the window , they have a threaded insert in the body of the hatch door . I'm going to take mine off because this kind can cause rust .

Re: rear window louvers
Mine are hinged at the top and are attached to the hatch with screws. The bottom extends past the glass and is held by two spring-loaded "barrel bolt" latches that extend into holes in the louver. The latches (screw-mounted to the hatch)retract so the louver can be swung up to clean the glass.
